ASMCF Postgraduate Poster Prize 2015

University of Hull, 8-10 September 2015

Be part of a major international conference Present your research to an audience of experts : Explore your ideas in a new and innovative way

APPEL POUR POSTERS Hull 2015 As part of the Association for the Study of Modern and Contemporary France’s annual conference 2015 in Hull, we are holding a postgraduate poster competition. Unlike the conference papers, the poster competition has no set theme, and is an excellent opportunity for postgraduates, at both masters and doctoral level, to showcase their research. Whether you’re working on a dissertation or thesis, we welcome posters from all postgraduates researching any topic linked to French history, culture, or society.

The competition is an integral part of the main conference proceedings, with dedicated sessions for exhibitors to display their posters and give a short (5 minutes) presentation on their research. A prize will be awarded to the winner, who will be announced at the conference dinner on September 9.

For further information and responses to any queries, please contact the competition organisers, your ASMCF PG Representatives Stacie Allan Stacie.Allan@bristol.ac.uk & Mason Norton mason.norton@go.edgehill.ac.uk . The deadline for entries is July 31. Previous winning posters can be viewed at: http://www.asmcf.org/funding/ . The Association also offers the possibility of discounted attendance for postgraduates.
